Onions have even been shown to reverse signs of premature graying, and they are great for controlling issues like scalp infections or dandruff. The Journal of Dermatology conducted a small study, in which they found that participants suffering from alopecia, who applied onion juice to their scalps 2 times a day for a period of 2 months, had better odds of hair regrowth than the control group who simply used tap water.

  • Honey
  • 2 Onions

First peel the onions, chop them in medium sized pieces, and blend it. Then add the onion to a strainer and with a spoon press the pulp to extract the juice out of it. To the onion juice, add 1 – 2 teaspoons of honey, and if you like, you can add in a couple of drops of essential oil.

Massage the liquid onto your bald patches, or if you like, your entire scalp. Cover your hair with a shower cap and leave it to stay on your head overnight, or for at least 45 minutes. Rinse your hair first thing in the morning.
