The latest research conducted by Dr. Andrea Petersen for “Wall Street Journal”, reveals that sharing a bed with your partner is beneficial for your health. Sleep with the person you want, reduces the level of cortisol, a hormone that is a major cause of stress and feelings of anxiety and depression.

This interesting relationship between sleeping with your partner and sleep quality, thereby improving health, confirms and Wendy Troxell, a professor of psychiatry and psychology at the University of Pittsburgh, which states:

“The benefits of sleeping together with a partner are not only physically but also mentally. Sleeping together lowers cytokines, chemicals involved in the various inflammations in the body, and in their place increases the secretion of oxytocin, known as the love hormone, which is known for reducing for stress and anxiety.”

However, the claims of scientists do not stop here. According to scientists, what will bring better health and better relationship with your partner is sleeping naked.

The research has shown that people who are alone are more difficult to fall asleep and are more likely to develop depression.
