Warning! Do Not Mix These Household Products-They Can Kill You!

Did you know that mixing different household ingredients is very dangerous? The reason for that is because certain combinations can release toxic gases and that makes them health threat, particularly refers to lungs and brain.

Below we are presenting you few tips that you should remember and protect your and your family’s health.

1. Chlorine bleach and vinegar

All of the chemical compounds – acids, including vinegar are extremely dangerous when are combined with chlorine. That reaction releases toxic chlorine – gas.

2. Bleach and ammonia

Toxic fumes – mostly chloramines are formed by this combination. The fumes are very dangerous for the eyes, but also are harmful if are inhaled.

3. Baking soda and vinegar

The mixture of these compounds is very effective for cleaning, but not for the health. Sodium bicarbonate (chemical name for baking soda) reacts with acetic acid, which is found in vinegar. This combination produces sodium acetate, water and carbon dioxide. Additionally, the vinegar causes bubbling in baking soda, which may result in explosion if you mix the two ingredients in closed container.

4. Rubbing alcohol and bleach

If you combine rubbing alcohol and bleach you actually make combination of chloroform and hydrochloric acid. And that combo is extremely dangerous. Therefore, you should use the bleach alone separately as it is much safer option.

5. Hydrogen peroxide and vinegar

Mostly is used as a cleaning device, but you definitely should not prepare this combination. The reason for that is formation of peracetic acid which is extremely harmful as it causes injuries on skin, eyes and the respiratory system.

6. Two different cleaners

Keep in mind that each cleaner has its particular purpose. Some of you may consider that it would be more effective to mix two cleaners, example – window cleaner and some universal cleaner. Still, mixing of different types may become really dangerous to your health.
